The rotary molding machine is for molding, it consists of 3 important cylinders, namely feeding or pushing cylinder and rubber cylinder. The other parts are the scraping blade and belt system. The dough entering from the feeding hopper falls between the mold cylinder and the pushing cylinder. The falling dough starts to fill the gaps on the mold with the feeding cylinder. The scraping blade takes the excess dough on the mold and ensures that enough dough remains on the motif. The mold cylinder comes into contact with the belt and rubber cylinder. The product falls on the belt with the pressure created between the rubber cylinder and the mold cylinder and the shaped product is transferred to the oven with the belt system.

A balance must be established between the mold cylinder and other equipment in order to get the best result according to the characteristics of the dough. Each part has its own special variables. Factors such as the speed of the feeding cylinder, the gap between the cylinders, as well as the design structure, how the mold motif will be filled according to the characteristics of the dough, the position and shape of the knife vary. The amount of pressure created between the mold cylinder and the rubber cylinder is very important for the product to be able to come out of the mold. Excessive pressure causes the product to stretch. Single or double rubber cylinders can be used for this.
